Mark’s first collaboration with Medvec & Associates began as a client, almost 20 years ago. Prior to joining Medvec & Associates as a senior principal, Mark was a principal with CBRE Investment Management, one of the largest commercial real estate investment firms in the world, where he led a team responsible for the financial performance of a $11 billion portfolio of properties across the U.S. The role required intensive negotiations of building acquisitions, dispositions and leases for properties with values ranging from $100 million to $400 million.

Over the course of his tenure at CBRE, Vicki and Mark trained hundreds of the firm’s top brokers and investment professionals and negotiated the acquisition, sale and lease-up of the firm’s largest investments. The collaboration exceeded all expectations and resulted in dramatically improved financial results as well as the strengthening of the relationships with the firm’s key clients and suppliers.  

In his role as senior principal at Medvec & Associates, Mark has worked on assignments with the world’s largest technology, biotech and service firms. In addition to his role with Medvec & Associates, Mark is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California. He teaches courses on real estate investment management with an emphasis on managing complex financial negotiations.  

Mark received his MBA in finance from Columbia University and his BS degree in business management from Syracuse University.
